Dr. Souvik Dutta is an Assistant Professor in Economics at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIITD) since December 2019. He specializes in the fields of Game Theory, Political Economy and Digital Economy. Before joining IIITD, he was a faculty at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) since September 2014.

He has published in reputed journals like Journal of Public Economics, Economics Letters and others. Dr. Dutta holds a Ph.D in Economics from Pennsylvania State University, USA, Masters in Economics from Delhi School of Economics and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Presidency College, Kolkata.
