Jointly with the Analytics Society of India, DCAL will conduct two post-symposium workshops on ‘Data Visualization and Storytelling’ and ‘Generative AI’ on 23rd and 24th July
20 June, 2023, Bengaluru: The Data Centre and Analytics Lab (DCAL) at IIM Bangalore will host the thirteenth Symposium on Business Analytics and Intelligence on 21st and 22nd July 2023. As part of the annual symposium, working professionals and students from IIMB’s programme in Business Analytics and Intelligence (BAI - Batch 13) will be presenting their projects in the Analytics domain. The projects have been undertaken in collaboration with various organizations on real-life problems/data. These projects were procured from diverse sectors including energy, technology solutions, FMCG, manufacturing, healthcare and tourism.

This year’s symposium will see nine different projects being presented, detailing the problem statement, approach, outcome and impact. Experts from industry will deliver talks covering a range of relevant topics from technology to business, opportunities and challenges.
This symposium provides the perfect platform to understand the applications of Analytics and Big Data in various disciplines of management and how they are being used for solving domain- and sector-specific problems.
