EPGP team wins HR Case competition ‘THRONE’ conducted by Symbiosis Institute of International Management, Pune

29 September, 2022, Bengaluru: A team comprising Varsha Ramesh and K Arun Kumar, both students of the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), batch of 2022-2023, have won the HR Case competition ‘Throne’, organized by Symbiosis Institute of International Management (SIIB), Pune. The award includes a Participation Certificate and a cash component.
The event was held as part of ‘SIIB Leadership Series 2022’, the annual B-school event of SIIB, Pune. This year the event was themed on ‘Expanding the Possibilities: Defying Gravity’.
The SIIB Leadership Series is a platform for the students of SIIB and many others to interact with leaders from diverse fields, understand what it takes to make it to the top of the career ladder, and take part in B-school events. The contest ‘Throne’ is specifically for Human Resource specialization.
Throne is conducted by HR Connect - the HR Club of SIIB. Today's business environment requires HR managers to collaborate with all functional departments to secure employee retention and growth. In order to achieve the same, they need to master HR principles and their practical applications. ‘Throne’ is a brilliant opportunity to test the participants’ HR acumen.
