IIMB exchange alumnus Philipp Navratil appointed CEO of Nestlé

Immersion at IIMB between 1999-2000 marks an early chapter in his global leadership journey

4 September, 2025, Bengaluru: True to its mission of developing leaders who shape business, government and society, IIMB celebrates the appointment of Philipp Navratil as the Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé. Mr. Navratil participated in an exchange term at IIMB between 1999-2000, as part of a student exchange partnership programme with the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

He went on to join Nestlé in 2001, shortly after completing his MBA at St. Gallen, and has since built a distinguished career across multiple markets and functions.

The longstanding partnership between IIM Bangalore and the University of St. Gallen has enabled generations of students to benefit from such exchange opportunities. In continuing its commitment to global academic collaboration and leadership development, students of IIMB’s PGP batch of 2026 will be headed to 54 universities in 25 countries, including St. Gallen, as part of their international immersion this year.
