FT EXECUTIVE EDUCATION 2022: IIMB CONTINUES TO BE RANKED AMONG THE TOP 50 SCHOOLS GLOBALLY
Executive Education at India’s premier B-school has retained its top billing for the third year in succession
23 May 2022, Bangalore: The Financial Times Executive Education Rankings for 2022 published its list of Top 50 Global providers of Executive Education, today. Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) has been ranked among the Top 50 global schools for the third year in succession.
IIMB has been ranked among the Top 50 providers of Executive Education globally in the FT Executive Education Ranking for 2022. The international recognition for IIMB’s Executive Education Programmes comes in the backdrop of two hard years where business schools as well as working professionals and companies had to face several challenges in the wake of the pandemic.
Commenting on the continued success of IIMB in global rankings, G. Shainesh, Professor Marketing and Chairperson of Executive Education Programs at IIMB, said: “As we emerge from the pandemic, it is time to take fresh guard and script a new story. FT’s global ranking provides the perfect springboard to take our Exec Ed programs to the next level.”
The pandemic has accelerated the adoption of digital in all industry verticals, and Executive Education is no exception. IIMB was already well established in the digital learning space with over 50 MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) on offer. Leveraging its presence in digital learning, IIMB was among the first to offer Live, Online Classes. “Our strength in digital learning helps us reach a large audience in India and abroad. We offer new programs, in blended and hybrid modes,” said Madan Mohan Raj, Chief Programme Officer, Executive Education Programmes, IIMB.
Executive Education at IIMB offers both customized and open enrollment, certificate programmes for working professionals with a view to provide them with continuing learning opportunities. IIMB offers over 200 certificate programs in a year and engages with 6000 participants.
