The Golden Jubilee celebrations, starting with the launch of a special commemorative postal cover, along with India Post, in March 2023, will culminate in the Annual Convocation in April 2024 with global workshops, conferences and student & alumni-led activities along the way
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has announced the schedule for a plethora of events that the school will conduct from 2023 to 2024, to commemorate its Golden Jubilee. The Golden Jubilee logo was launched on 28th December 2022, by Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIMB.
The IIMB History Project will lead the launch of commemorative books and a documentary to mark the Golden Jubilee of the Institute during the year. Events for corporate partners will be organized by EEP. Sessions like Fireside Chats/C-suite Mantras will be organized over the year by the CDS Office.
National Conclave to Augment Organ Donations Through Non-Transplant Organ Retrieval Centres: 2nd and 3rd September, 2023, at MDC at IIM Bangalore.
On 2nd October, Vikasana, the social club of IIM Bangalore, will observe the ‘Day of Giving’.
On 3rd and 4th November, IIM Bangalore and LSE South Asia Centre to jointly host a symposium on ‘Digital Innovations, Financial Inclusion and Sustainability in India’
On 18th and 19th November, the business summit ‘Drishti’ will be held by Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM) students.
On 1st and 2nd December, the ‘International Conference - Towards a Sustainable Real Estate’ by IIMB-RERI.
From 1st to 3rd February, the ‘Doctoral Alumni Meet’ and ‘IMRDC Conference’ will be organized by the IMR and the Doctoral Studies Offices.
In April, the Golden Jubilee celebrations will culminate in the Annual Convocation 2024.
