14 November, 2025, Bengaluru: At the 18th Eduniversal World Convention, hosted at IIM Indore from 10–13 November 2025, IIMB reaffirmed its leadership position by securing the No. 1 rank in India and Central Asia and receiving the 5 Palmes Emeritus distinction, an honour reserved for institutions that have remained in the top 5 Palmes of Excellence League for over a decade.
IIMB also received the Gold Trophy for ranking first in the Central Asia region, with the highest Dean’s Recommendation rate of 341%. It remains one of only two Indian B-schools to hold the 5 Palmes Emeritus status and among three to receive the 5 Palmes of Excellence in the country.
Professor Dinesh Kumar, Director In-charge, and Professor Mukta Kulkarni, Dean of Programmes, represented the Institute and received the awards at the ceremony.
“Each of our programmes continues to perform strongly against global benchmarks,” said Prof. Dinesh. “Our sustained presence leading in the Eduniversal rankings is a reflection of continuous reinvention – the kind that strengthens our mission to create meaningful impact for individuals, organizations, and society”.
IIMB's consistent prominence across global rankings reinforces its standing as one of India’s premier management institutions. In 2025, the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) ranked No. 1 in India and 28th globally in the Financial Times Masters in Management (FT MiM) Ranking, while the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) retained the top position in India and ranked among the top three in the APAC region in the Bloomberg Businessweek Best B-Schools Rankings. It also featured among the top 10 in Asia and No. 1 in India in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2026.
“This recognition belongs to our entire community; the dedication of our faculty, staff, and students is what makes awards like this happen.,” said Prof. Mukta.
