IIMB to host 4th JAAF India Symposium from January 11th - 13th, 2020; the deadline for submission of research papers is September 15

05 SEPTEMBER, 2019: The 4th Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance (JAAF) India symposium will be held at the Indian Institute of Management (IIMB) India during January 11th – 13th, 2020. The symposium is co-hosted by IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, and the Indian School of Business (ISB).  The Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) is the principal sponsor.

Authors are invited to submit (unpublished and/or not accepted elsewhere for publication) research papers consistent with the aims and scope of JAAF for presentation. Papers are to be submitted in an electronic form to: jaaf2020@iimb.ac.in. There is no submission fee. The Symposium Program Committee will select papers for presentation based on the comments of reviewers, the quality of the work and the potential for contributing to the literature. The deadline for submission is September 15, 2019 and the decision about the selected papers will be communicated by October 30, 2019. The registration fees and cost of lodging will be waived for all presenters, discussants, and invited speakers. Accepted papers for the Symposium may be submitted to JAAF but the review for the journal will be independent of the review for the symposium.

Attendance is open to all, but there is limited space for participants who are not speakers and discussants. Those interested in attending the Symposium should register before December 15, 2019 by sending an email to jaaf2020@iimb.ac.in. The registration fee for the attendees is INR 5,000 (Approx. US$75) which includes the symposium material, lunch, and dinner. Attendees will have to make their own arrangements for accommodation. The conference website will have useful information about nearby hotels.

Questions about the Symposium may be addressed to Srinivasan Rangan, IIMB Bangalore (srinivasanr@iimb.ac.in) or Suresh Govindaraj, Rutgers Business School - Newark and New Brunswick, Rutgers University (suresh@business.rutgers.edu).

For queries related to registration, please send an email to jaaf2020@iimb.ac.in.

Please note an earlier version of this advertisement had indicated that the conference dates are January 10th – January 12th, 2020. That stands corrected and the correct conference dates are January 11th - 13th, 2020.
