IIMB Alumni Assn launches special edition of IIMBueX; hosts talk by FM on May 29th

IIMBue (www.iimbue.com) is the Global Leadership Conclave organised annually by the IIMB Alumni Association. IIMBueX is the online avatar of IIMBue. This online edition will ensure that IIMB alumni, who are spread across the globe, participate in the Thought Leadership Conclave. 

The IIMBueX - Special Edition, that will begin at 4 pm on May 29th, is co-organised by the Bangalore and Singapore chapters of IIMBAA around the theme of ‘Recovery, Rehabilitation and Prevention’ in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. IIMB Director Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan and IMBAA President Harish Mittal will welcome the participants and set the context for the session.

The Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman will deliver a virtual address on ‘Economic Revival and Revitalization in the Face of Pandemic Uncertainties’ at 4:10 pm.

Dr Devi Shetty, Chairman of the Narayana Group of Hospitals and Chairman, Board of Directors, IIMB, will speak on how to build healthcare systems for handling calamities in the future at 4:30 pm.

There will also be a panel discussion on how to prepare for a post COVID VUCA world, at 4:50 pm. The panellists are Dr Chinmay Thumbe, faculty at IIMA and  author of the book, ‘The Age of Pandemics’, and Dr Ajay Nair, CEO of Swasth Alliance.
