IIMB doctoral student Dhrithi Mahadevan’s proposal one of the winners of the 2021 AMS Review/Sheth Foundation Doctoral Competition for Conceptual Articles

The proposal, titled: ‘Customer Experience in Access-Based Services: A Conceptual Framework and Implications for Research’, has been selected as one among the top 12 in the competition
17 March, 2021, Bengaluru: A proposal titled, ‘Customer Experience in Access-Based Services: A Conceptual Framework and Implications for Research’, authored by Dhrithi Mahadevan, a student of IIM Bangalore’s Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme, has been selected as one of the winners of the 2021 AMS Review/Sheth Foundation Doctoral Competition for Conceptual Articles. In fact, Dhrithi's proposal has been selected as one among the top 12.
The competition had generated enthusiastic response from doctoral students from all over the world. Based on the reviewers’ comments and careful evaluation of the proposals, the most promising proposals have been selected for recognition at the Virtual Annual Conference of the Academy of Marketing Science.
The winners will be announced online and in social media on March 24, 2021. They will receive a check for $600 in recognition of their accomplishment and will be invited to make a presentation at the Virtual AMS 2021 Conference.
The winners of the competition are encouraged to keep working on their ideas and develop them into full manuscripts, which will be given special consideration at AMS Review. Winners have also received reviewer comments on their proposals. In addition to this feedback, the winners will also get the opportunity to attend one or more mentoring sessions with the Co-Chairs of the Doctoral Competition and other senior Marketing scholars. This will help them develop an impactful paper for eventual publication consideration at AMS Review.
Professor Haritha Saranga, Chairperson, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), IIMB and faculty in the Production & Operations Management area, while congratulating Dhrithi on her achievement, said, “We look forward to seeing good research coming out of your thesis and also all the best for publications in top-tier journals in your field.”
Dhriti thanked IIMB’s faculty members who mentored her and the Dissertation Advisory Committee (DAC) for their support and guidance throughout the process.
