IIM Bangalore to host 49th Convocation on 6th April

Shri T V Narendran, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Tata Steel, will be the Chief Guest and deliver the Convocation address

22 March, 2024, Bengaluru: Indian Institute of Management Bangalore will host its 49th Convocation from 5.00 pm on 6th April 2024, which will include the announcement of gold medals. Shri T V Narendran, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Tata Steel, will be the Chief Guest on the occasion and deliver the Convocation address.

During the ceremony, Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty, Chairperson, Board of Governors, IIMB, will share his message. Professor Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIMB, will highlight some of the achievements and accomplishments of the Institute. Videos on ‘Life at IIMB’ will also be played.

Degrees will be awarded to the students of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme and the MBA programmes – the Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM), Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), Post Graduate Programme in Business Analytics (PGP-BA) and Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP). The awards will include gold medals for Best All Round Performance, First Rank and Second Rank, which will be handed over by the Chief Guest.
