IIM Bangalore invites applications for the Professional Certificate Program in Hospital Management

Hospital management is an important aspect of healthcare that deals with the planning, organization, and coordination of healthcare services. It is a complex field that requires a deep understanding of healthcare policies, patient care, and financial management. Realizing the need to bring management education to the healthcare context, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) launched its 12-month online certificate program in Hospital Management through its digital arm, IIMBx, in July 2022. Having received positive feedback from the participants of Batch-1, IIMB now invites applications for Batch-2 of the program, scheduled to begin in July 2023. 

“The 12-month certificate program in Hospital Management from IIMBx is an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals to upgrade their knowledge and skills in hospital management. With experienced faculty and a flexible online format, the program offers an enriching learning experience. The certificate program in Hospital Management is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills required to manage hospitals and healthcare organizations effectively. The program is delivered through an online format, with world-class faculty from IIMB providing the coursework. The program offers 11 courses -- nine core and two electives. Learners can choose one of the two electives as they embark on this 12-month learning journey. 

One of the significant advantages of the program is its flexible online format, allowing participants to access the course material at their convenience. In addition to the asynchronous online learning content, each course consists of synchronous/live interactions with the faculty. These live sessions provide a platform for participants to engage with the faculty and other participants, facilitating discussions, peer learning and networking.

The certificate program is ideal for healthcare professionals such as doctors and nurses, administrators, and managers who want to upgrade their knowledge and skills in hospital management. Anyone meeting the eligibility criteria specified in the program page can apply. 

Program Fees

The Certificate Program in Hospital Management is priced at 1,25,000 + 18% GST. IIMB offers the participants the flexibility to pay the fee in two instalments.
