IIMB’s Public Policy programme hosts talk on ‘Urbanisation in Bangalore’ on May 22

22 May, 2019, Bengaluru: A special talk titled, ‘Urbanisation in Bangalore’, has been organized by IIM Bangalore’s Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management (PGPPM), on May 22 (Wednesday), 2019, from 2.15 pm to 4.00 pm, in Classroom C-12, as part of PGPPM’s event ‘Policy Speaks’, a Public Policy talk series. The talk will be delivered by Dr Kalpana Gopalan, Additional Chief Secretary, Youth Empowerment & Sports.

Dr Kalpana Gopalan has a PhD and Masters in Public Policy and Management from IIM Bangalore. She is a practitioner, policymaker, scholar, author, and advocate for social causes. As an officer of the Indian Administrative Service, she has held leadership positions in policy-making and program implementation in urban management, energy, rural development, local self-government, public-sector corporations, land management, education, training and regulation.
