IIMB hosts talk by Furuhashi Takeyuki on July 23

The Mizuho India Japan Study Centre (MIJSC) at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore will host a talk by Furuhashi Takeyuki, Chief Faculty for Visionary Leaders For Manufacturing (VLFM) Program India,  as part of the ‘Tatsujin-Speak’ or ‘Expert-Speak’ series, from 3.00 to 4.00 PM IST, on July 23. 

Titled ‘Transform Self Before Transforming Company - Leadership Secrets for Improving Manufacturing Competitiveness’, the talk will be held virtually. 

“It's no secret that a strong leadership strategy can make the difference between a successful firm and one that fails. My goal is to discuss what conscious and behavioural transformation is required for today's leaders to encourage and motivate followers to engage in shaping an organization's successful future. I will also deliberate on the characteristics and similarities of leadership role models in India and Japan that have successfully implemented flow transformation in their firms, as well as those who have failed to do so,” said Furuhashi Takeyuki.

The lecture will also be live streamed on IIMB's YouTube page.
