The theme for the year is Adaptive Mobility – Navigating Volatility, Building Resilience

10 September, Bengaluru, 2025: The future of mobility is at a crossroads, where sustainability meets disruption, and resilience is the new competitive edge. To spark meaningful conversations on these shifts, the IIM Bangalore Alumni Association (IIMBAA), through its Mobility Special Interest Group (SIG), is set to host the Global Mobility Summit 2025 on September 13, 2025, at the IIMB Auditorium.

Themed ‘Adaptive Mobility: Navigating Volatility, Building Resilience,’ the summit will feature two keynotes, four panel discussions, and a fireside chat that together explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the next era of mobility. The summit will also feature the launch and discussion of an ESG research paper by Prof. Sourav Mukherji,  Dean, Faculty, Dean of Alumni Relations & Development, IIMB,

Keynote Speakers

The summit will open with an inaugural address by Subodh Patil, Director of the IIMBAA Bangalore Chapter, followed by a keynote session that will set the tone for the day. Dr. Anita Gupta, Head of Climate Energy & Sustainable Technology at the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, will deliver the first keynote on ‘Future-Ready India: Government Priorities for a Resilient Mobility Ecosystem,’ with Anil Radhakrishnan, Chief Product Officer at Tata Elxsi, moderating the session.

Later in the day, Alok Verma, Head Corporate Strategy, Ashok Leyland, will address ‘The Resilience Playbook: Leadership Decisions in Uncertain Times,’ with Pramod Nanjundaswamy, VP and Global Delivery Head, Cyient Ltd, moderating the discussion.

Four Panels of Provocative Ideas

The heart of the summit will be four panel discussions featuring leaders from across the mobility spectrum. The first panel on ‘Sustainability Under Scrutiny: ESG in a World of Mobility Disruptions,’ will feature Prof. Sourav Mukherji, Dean, Faculty, Dean of Alumni Relations & Development, IIMB,; Uday Narang, Founder of Omega Seiki; and Dr. Sajiv Madhavan, Chief Risk and Sustainability Officer, Tata Elxsi, with Sukhinaju Srinivasan, Director of Automotive Go-to-Market, ARM, moderating the session.

This will be followed by a panel on, ‘Surviving the Shake-Up: Tech Bets Shaping the Next Mobility Waves,’ will include perspectives from Manuj Khurana, Vice President of Corporate Development, Ather Energy; Prasanna Gonuguntla, Senior Vice President and Head of R&D Functions, Mercedes-Benz RDI; Dr. Charan Gurumurthy, Senior Vice President of TATA Electronics and Business Head of TSAT; and Bhuvan Anandakrishnan, Vice President, Caterpillar Inc.; with Santosh Godbole, Chief Technology Officer, Brisa Technologies; moderating the panel.

The third panel, ‘The EV Game: Scaling Adoption, Infrastructure, and Innovation,’ will see insights shared by Anshuman Divyanshu, CEO of Exicom; Vishesh Rajaram, Managing Partner, Speciale Invest; Pravin Swaminathan, Vice President of Data and AI, Agratas Energy Storage Solutions; and Vishwanath Surindaran, Cofounder and CEO of Steam-A, will moderate the session.
