IIMB’s R&P office to host a seminar on ‘Successful implementation of smart product-based solutions in the Internet of Things’ on March 06

24 February 2020, Bengaluru: The Office of Research and Publications (R&P) at IIM Bangalore will host a research seminar titled ‘Successful implementation of smart product-based solutions in the Internet of Things’, on March 06, 2020. Dr. Alexander Pflaum, Social and Economic Sciences, Otto Friedrich University, Bamberg, will deliver the talk to the doctoral students in the seminar.

Prof. Pflaum specializes in Supply Chain Management and is the head of the Fraunhofer Working Group for Supply Chain Services (SCS). He received his doctorate from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) on the topic “RFID and Supply Chain Management”. His research interests are the role of digital platforms in value creation, the digital transformation of companies, and the development of data-driven services and corresponding business models. Some of his principal activities comprise of business evaluation and implementation of innovative ICT technologies, technology-oriented service engineering, and development of distributed application systems using Smart Object technologies
