Marketing area to host talk by Prof. Maura L Scott on April 5

23 MARCH, 2022: In her hour-long talk, on April 5th at 7:30 pm (IST), Prof. Maura Scott, Persis E. Rockwood Professor of Marketing at the College of Business, Florida State University, and Joint Editor-in-Chief – Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, will discuss approaches to leveraging marketing to help improve consumer and societal well-being. She will highlight research that examines the journeys of consumers, particularly the vulnerable and stigmatized, as they navigate healthcare and financial services. Furthermore, she will discuss the strategic plan for the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, which is built on a foundation of inclusivity and includes four pillars: focus on topics that make a difference in the world, intentionally engage diverse and global policy perspectives, encourage business relevance and impact, and offer a variety of marketing lenses. She will discuss how scholarly journals, such as JPP&M, can be impactful in helping to examine society’s grand challenges.
