AUGUST 26, 2015:  The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore announces its 1st India Conference on Innovation, Intellectual Property and Competition to be held on December 7 and 8, 2015. The conference aims at reinvigorating innovation conversations and re-igniting Schumpeterian forces of creative destruction in the Indian economy. Spread over two days, the events will feature invited presentations from noted global academic scholars on economics and management of innovation. In addition there will be invited presentations from policy makers and regulators from Government of India and Indian State governments apart from thoughts shared by industry leaders from India Inc. The conference will also hold an evening Round Table on Day 1, December 7, at the ITC Gardenia, a city based hotel. The invited academic speakers attending the event include senior innovation scholars from University of California, Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgetown University, Vanderbilt University and University of Florida.
