NSRCEL hosts networking session for young entrepreneurs

IIM Bangalore' incubation centre, NSRCEL, is hosting a session and a networking interaction for the members of a delegation of 25 entrepreneurs from across South Asia as part of South Asian Young Entrepreneurship Summit (SAYES). The purpose of the summit is to create a platform for entrepreneurs from across the region to network and learn best practices from each other. The session will commence at 11 am on Wednesday (October 29) with a welcome address by Professor G Sabarinathan, Chairperson, NSRCEL and a presentation on the role of incubation in facilitating start-ups. This will be followed by presentations by Aditya Pisupati from Artflute and Srinivas Ramprasad from Persept Solar, both incubatees at NSRCEL, and a presentation by Madan Padaki. There will be a small group networking to share best practices.

TiE Bengaluru Chapter in collaboration with The U.S. Consulate Chennai is organizing the South Asia Young Entrepreneurship Summit (SAYes) in Bengaluru. The summit will bring together budding entrepreneurs from throughout South Asia to Bengaluru to network, learn best practices and expand business connections in the region. These entrepreneurs have been nominated by each of the US consulates in the representing country and have been chosen on the basis of being most promising for scaling and taking their business across countries. There is a total of 25 entrepreneurs from- India, Bangladesh, Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

The overarching goal of the program is to foster entrepreneurship across countries, building collaboration and promoting growth of economies and entrepreneurs. The program will expose young entrepreneurs to avenues and information on regulations governing regional business cooperation, possible funding opportunities, while providing a vibrant and diverse platform for networking and mentorship.

Over 2 days at this conference, the invited delegates will attend over a dozen sessions and meet successful entrepreneurs from South Asian nations and Bengaluru. They will engage in understanding best practices and success blueprints.
