Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Professor in Quantitative Methods & Information Systems, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Most Prominent Analytic Academicians in India for his extensive research in big data analyses by Analytics India Magazine. The magazine chose Professor Kumar for spearheading the analytics education industry in India. The magazine believes that India at the moment is at an inflection wherein there are hitherto unforeseen shifts in industry's attitude towards benefits and applications of Business Analytics.
