9 February, 2024, Bengaluru: The Centre for Capital Markets and Risk Management and Networth, the student-run Finance club, at IIM Bangalore, marked Capital Markets Day with two engaging panel discussions. Prof. Venkatesh Panchapagesan, Chairperson of the Real Estate Research Initiative, and Professor in Finance & Accounting, anchored an expert panel on ‘Global and Indian Financial Markets: What to Expect in 2024 and Beyond’. The panel comprised Puneet Bhatia, Co-Managing Partner and Country Head, TPG Capital Asia, and Sankaren Naren, Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer at ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund. The second panel, on the ‘Indian Real Estate Sector – What to Expect in 2024 and Beyond’, had Prof. Venkatesh Panchapagesan, in conversation with Vipul Roongta, MD & CEO of HDFC Capital.
