Biswapriya Saha and Sanchit Jain recognized for study on sustainable business practices

18 May, 2026, Bengaluru: Doctoral programme scholars at IIMB, Biswapriya Saha from the Strategy area and Sanchit Jain from the Finance & Accounting area, secured the Runner-Up position at the second edition of the Council on Business & Society (CoBS) competition.

The CoBS global network brings together leading business schools to advance responsible business practices and sustainability-oriented thought leadership. As part of the competition, participants examined how organizations embed sustainability into their operations through a combination of field interviews and secondary research.

Biswapriya and Sanchit’s work focused on Bare Necessities, a sustainability-focused startup, analysing how the company integrates environmentally responsible practices into its core business model.
