PGP ’24 alumnus Anant Ashutosh Sharma strikes gold at 38th National Games 2025
The Olympic-style multi-sport event saw participation from 10000+ athletes
10 February, 2025, Bengaluru: Anant Ashutosh Sharma, a PGP 2024 alumnus, won a gold medal in Lawn Bowls for Delhi state at the 38th National Games 2025. The National games are India’s Olympic-style multi-sport event organized by the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, GOI.
This year, the event held at Uttarakhand from 31 January to 9 February 2025, saw participation from 10000+ athletes representing 28 states, 8 Union Territories, and the Services Sports Control Board (Defense Forces), all contending for medals in 32 different sports.
Even while at IIMB, Anant, an Institute Rank 1 (IR1) holder, represented Delhi at the 37th National Games Goa in 2023 and secured two bronze medals.
