28th May, 2025: The Centre for Public Policy (CPP) at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), in collaboration with ADRA India, will host a Corporate Roundtable focused on Leveraging Private Sector’s Expertise for Enhancing Early Action in Disaster Preparedness scheduled for Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at venue N-001, IIMB.
Disasters often strike with little warning, making early preparedness critical to saving lives and reducing economic losses. This initiative aims to engage the private sector by tapping into its innovations, resources, and organizational strengths to proactively reduce disaster risks.
The Roundtable will bring together a dynamic mix of stakeholders from the corporate sector, humanitarian organizations, and government agencies. Discussions will focus on practical, technology-driven strategies for early action, as well as policy frameworks that can enable and encourage private sector involvement in disaster preparedness efforts.
