IIM Bangalore to welcome new batch of PhD students on 9 June

The event will include Director’s Merit List award distribution

6 June, 2025, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore is set to welcome the new batch of PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) students with an inauguration ceremony on 9th June 2025, from 10 am onwards, at N-001.

The inauguration will include welcome addresses by Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIM Bangalore, and by the Deans. This will be followed by the distribution of Director’s Merit List (DML) awards.

The Doctoral programme at IIMB Bangalore is a vibrant programme, which is committed to training individuals to excel in their area of research by publishing quality work of international standard. Prof. Kanchan Mukherjee, faculty in the Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management area, is the current Chairperson of the PhD programme at IIMB.
