Registrations for the conference, themed on ‘Geopolitics, Sustainability, and GenAI: Navigating the New Age of Supply Chain’, will be open till 30th November

21 November, 2025, Bengaluru: The Supply Chain Management Centre (SCMC) will host the Ninth Biennial Supply Chain Management Conference on 11th and 12th December 2025, at the IIM Bangalore campus. The theme of the conference is ‘Geopolitics, Sustainability, and GenAI: Navigating the New Age of Supply Chain’, which aims to offer a deeper understanding of how supply chains can adapt and thrive in today’s complex environment. The last date for registration of the conference is 30th November 2025.

In today’s world, supply chains are being reshaped by sustainability goals, rapid technological change – including Generative AI – and shifting geopolitical dynamics. The conference will feature sessions reflecting these transformations.

The conference will offer the opportunity to academic researchers, industry practitioners, policymakers and students in the field of Supply Chain Management, to discuss and explore the latest challenges as well as opportunities in the evolving landscape of supply chains. They will get the platform to exchange research insight, industry experience, share best practices as well as practical solutions and learn from other experts through paper presentations, keynote sessions, panel discussions, workshops and other interactive sessions.

A special session of the conference will be dedicated to the Doctoral Student Paper Competition, aimed at recognizing exceptional research by PhD scholars in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Management. The best submissions will be selected by the Faculty Review Committee and awarded.

The Conference Co-chairs are Prof. Rajeev R Tripathi, Chairperson, Supply Chain Management Centre and faculty of the Production and Operations Management area, and Prof. Nishant Kumar Verma, faculty of the Production and Operations Management area. The Conference Coordinators are Dr. Aditya Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, Supply Chain Management Centre and Dr. Mohan Krishna, Manager – Research, Supply Chain Management Centre.
