Advisory Council formed for Centre for Public Policy at IIMB

An Advisory Council of the Centre for Public Policy (CPP) has been constituted for providing long-term guidance to the activities of CPP.  The Advisory Council comprises the following members:

About CPP: The Centre for Public Policy (CPP) is a leading policy think tank engaged in cutting-edge research, teaching and capacity building. CPP's mission is to catalyse new thinking and pave new directions in public policy and work with stakeholders at multiple levels. Through its work, CPP nurtures competitive ideas, builds capacity and produces high quality policy analyses that influence policymakers and development outcomes across the region. CPP was created in 2000 through a partnership between the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and IIMB. In July 2009, CPP was designated by the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), Government of India, as a Centre of Excellence in the area of Urban Development, one of 13 such centres established by the MoUD to bridge the tremendous gap in capacity in the urban sector.
