Qualification: BTech-Mtech Dual Degree in Environmental Science & Engineering from IIT Bombay

Prior Work Experience: Interned at TCS as a sustainability Consultant in 2023. Worked at EY-Parthenon for 6 months in the healthcare consulting space

Research Interests:                                                             

I am a first-year PhD student in Finance and Accounting, with emerging research interests at the intersection of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance, sustainability, and corporate finance. I am particularly curious about the role of green bonds and unaddressed environmental cost accounting in driving the global transition toward a sustainable economy.

I am also exploring environmental cost accounting as a tool to integrate environmental considerations into corporate financial decision-making. Broadly, I seek to understand how sustainable finance can support investments in green energy and foster long-term ecological resilience. My goal is to contribute to the growing body of research that examines how financial markets can incentivize responsible business practices and align with sustainability objectives.

Career and Recent Professional Awards:  

Between passing out from IITB in 2024 and starting my Phd at IIMB in 2025, I worked in the healthcare consulting team at Ernst  & Young - the foremost healthcare consulting team in India.
