October 28, 2025, Bangalore: The Centre for Corporate Governance & Sustainability (CCGS) at IIM Bangalore will host a session on Corporate Governance on 13th November 2025, from 1400 to 1700 hrs in classroom N-001 at the IIMB Campus, to commemorate Prof. N. Balasubramanian’s remarkable contributions to corporate governance, ethical leadership, and responsible business practices.

The session will open with the Prof. N. Balasubramanian Memorial Lecture, to be delivered by Mr. Suresh Narayanan, Former Chairman & Managing Director, Nestlé India Ltd. Following the address, the event will feature a panel discussion titled ‘The Future Board Room: Redefining Corporate Governance in a Changing World,’ which will bring together eminent leaders and scholars in the field.
Distinguished panelists include Prof. Samir Barua, former director of IIM Ahmedabad; Prof. Chiranjib Sen, distinguished professor at the School of Liberal Studies, BML Munjal University; and Prof. Prasanna Chandra, director of the Centre for Financial Management.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Prof. P. D. Jose, Professor of Strategy, IIM Bangalore. The session will be chaired by Prof. Padmini Srinivasan, Chairperson, Centre for Corporate Governance & Sustainability, and Professor of Finance & Accounting, IIM Bangalore.
This special session promises to offer deep insights into the evolving dynamics of corporate governance and the challenges of steering boardrooms in an era of transformation.
