IIMB’s India-Japan Study Centre launches webinar series on July 21

19 July, 2018, Bengaluru: The India-Japan Study Centre (IJSC) at IIM Bangalore is launching the webinar series – The India Japan Forum, aimed to address several issues associated with living and working in Japan.

The first in the webinar series is titled, ‘Living and Working in Japan – a First-hand Account’ and will be held on July 21 (Saturday), 2018, at 04.00 pm.

The webinar will be led by Ved Kamat, a consultant who provides services supporting India-Japan initiatives, with a network of partners in both the countries.

The webinars are aimed at business professionals, students aspiring to visit or live in Japan, or those who want to do business with, or set up business in, Japan.

Ved is an IT engineer from Mumbai University and began his career with Infosys Technologies. He got the Matsushita Foundation (Panasonic) scholarship to study business and Japanese at the International University of Japan, in Niigata, Japan. After graduating and moving to Tokyo, Ved has had several years of experience working in consulting and project management, with large global organizations like MetLife Japan and Accenture Japan. He resides in Tokyo and strives to boost communication between the two countries.
