Fostering Knowledge and Implementation Links

The ''Fostering Knowledge-Implementation Links'' is a unique and innovative project at the Centre for Public-Policy at IIMB in collaboration with the Department of Health and Family Welfare Services (DHFWS), Government of Karnataka, as part of the Karnataka Health System Development and Reform Project (KHSDRP). The project fosters partnerships between the academic and research community and the government and provides a forum where practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and development agencies can share knowledge and experiences on health and health system issues of policy relevance. The specific objectives are: To promote research that is contextually relevant and more responsive to policy needs in selected areas; and To incorporate research findings in health policy and strengthen the evidence base for public health programmes in Karnataka
