PGPPM Policy Speaks talk ‘Health programs influencing policies or policy influencing health programs’ on Sept 12
11 September, 2018, Bengaluru: A special talk titled, ‘Health programs influencing policies or policy influencing health programs’ has been organized by IIM Bangalore’s Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management (PGPPM), to be held on September 12 (Wednesday), 2018, from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm, in Classroom C-23, as part of PGPPM’s event ‘Policy Speaks’, a Public Policy talk series. The talk will be delivered by Dr. Akash Malik, National Manager - Health System Strengthening, United Nations Development Programme.
Dr. Akash Malik is a medical doctor specializing in community medicine. He started his career as a Surveillance Medical Officer in the World Health Organization. He is an expert in immunization with first-hand experience in facilitating and leading new vaccine introduction in India. He is proficient in epidemiology, statistical data analysis and designing and conducting randomized control trials and operational research.
