11 September, 2018, Bengaluru: The Office of Research and Publications (R&P) at IIM Bangalore will host a research seminar titled: ‘Market Capitalization and Growth with Nominal and Real Rigidities’, on September 14 (Friday), 2018, from 02.30 pm, at Classroom C13. The talk will be delivered by Dr. Agnirup Sarkar, IIT Guwahati.

Speaker Profile: Dr. Agnirup Sarkar is Assistant Professor, Economics, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Guwahati. His research interests include Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, and Finance. His past employment experiences include those with the Bank of Slovenia, Indian Statistical Institute, and Durham University.

He is the recipient of the Durham University Learning and Teaching Award 2015. His papers have been published in leading journals including Journal of Macroeconomics and Macroeconomics and Finance in Emerging Market Economies.
