Product Development Capabilities relating to Offshoring and Outsourcing

My prior research has focused on the design of globally distributed product development organizations.  This research takes it forward and explores how the parent firm’s competencies get impacted with such decisions (the motivation comes from the current ranging debate on what and how much of design, development and manufacturing can USA bring back, given that these were offshored successively over the past decades).
