05 June, 2018, Bengaluru: The Office of Research and Publications (R&P) at IIM Bangalore will host a research seminar on ‘Firm Risk and Market Valuation: A Re-examination Using Quantile Regression’, on June 14 (Thursday), 2018, from 02.30 pm, at Classroom P12. The talk will be delivered by Professor Manish K. Srivastava, Michigan Tech.

Speaker Profile: Dr. Manish K. Srivastava is Associate Professor of Strategic Management and Innovation, School of Business and Economics, Michigan Tech. He has a PhD in Strategic Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, an MBA from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, and a BS in Civil Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur.

Dr. Srivastava's research focuses on technological innovation, strategic alliances, and evolution of knowledge structure of firms. His research has been published in premier management journals like Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management and other leading journals including Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, Industrial Marketing Management, Technology Analysis & Strategic Management, Management Decision, Journal of Technology Transfer, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change.

His research has won awards at the Strategic Management Society, Academy of Management, and Pan-IIM World Management Conference. He has served as Guest Editor for Long Range Planning, and currently serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Management. He has been Visiting Professor at Virginia Tech, and Visiting Associate Professor at Umeå University (Sweden).
