Centre for Management Communication at IIMB presents webinar on ‘Communication in Times of Uncertainty’ on April 09
06 APRIL, 2020: IIMB’s Centre for Management Communication presents its next webinar under its series CenComm Connect: The Forum for Dialogue. This webinar is called ‘Communication in Times of Uncertainty’, hosted by Dr. Deepti Ganapathy.
BRIEF OF WEBINAR:
The COVID-19 pandemic has plunged us into a state of uncertainty. We are being bombarded with information and the internet seems to be a life support we are clinging to. How are we making sense of this information overload? From our apartment society’s directives, our employers work from home instructions, to the PMs appeal - what does this mean for us?
This interactive webinar will give you a sense of how to be aware of the emotions that play a significant role in information processing, how does the cognitive need to share information make us forward messages, tweet and share images on social media, and how through all these connections we can use our communication skills to adapt, adhere and administer our needs by channelling them into productive ways.
