EGMP 2006 alumnus Arvind Sinha will conduct the session

06 April, 2018, Bengaluru: The Alumni Association of IIM Bangalore will conduct a webinar on ‘The Future of Cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin’, on April 07 (Saturday), 2018, from 6 pm onwards.

The webinar will be led by Arvind Sinha, who is an alumnus of IIMB’s EGMP 2006 (Executive General Management Programme).  At present, Arvind is the Vice President of Atos International, Germany.

The webinar will focus on: the history of currency, evolution of currency, why Cryptocurrency came into existence, interesting facts on Cryptocurrency and fiat currency, beginning of Cryptocurrency – Bitcoin, how Bitcoin is gaining ground today, if Bitcoin can replace fiat currency, and where Bitcoin is headed in the next 10 years.

About the speaker: Arvind is an Electrical Engineer and has completed Advanced Computing from CDAC. He is an alumnus of IIM Bangalore and Oxford University. His career has been focussed in the IT area, providing strategic consulting to banks and financial institutions.

Arvind is passionate about teaching, travel and photography, and has travelled extensively around the world. As part of his agenda to give back to the society, he has been mentoring M. Tech and MBA students of German universities. He is also the President of an NGO in Germany that works in the areas of education, renewable energy and agriculture.
