IIM Bangalore to host 18th IMR Doctoral Conference on 11-12 January 2027

17 July, 2026, Bengaluru: The 18th edition of the IMR Doctoral Conference (IMRDC), jointly organized by IIM Bangalore's flagship journal, the IIMB Management Review (IMR), and the Office of the Doctoral Programme, will be held on 11th and 12th January 2027, at the Institute.
Over the years, IMRDC has established itself as a premier forum for doctoral research in management, bringing together research scholars, faculty and practitioners from across institutions. The conference is designed to foster rigorous academic dialogue and encourage collaboration among emerging researchers by providing thorough and constructive feedback from senior academics and subject experts.
A distinguishing feature of IMRDC is its "one exclusive discussant per paper" format, through which every accepted paper receives focused scholarly feedback aimed at strengthening its theoretical and methodological contributions.
The two-day programme will feature doctoral paper presentations alongside keynote addresses, panel discussions, invited talks and research workshops led by eminent scholars from diverse management disciplines.
Delegate registration process
Delegate registrations are now open for faculty members, doctoral scholars, researchers and practitioners interested in attending the conference either in person or virtually. In-person delegates will receive the conference kit, hospitality during the conference and a certificate of participation. Virtual delegates will receive an e-certificate of participation.
