18 December, 2017, Bengaluru: The Academic Council of the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) at IIM Bangalore will be hosting a Fin-Tech Masterclass by Mumbai-based fin-tech expert Abhishant Pant, on December 24 (Sunday), 2017, from 10 am to 6 pm, at the New Classroom Block.
The full-day workshop will cover Current Industry Landscape (Various Wallets and its Impact – Competition, Block-chain Technology – Understanding & Impact, Regulatory Opportunities in Fin-Tech, Lending, Personal Finance Management, and Investment Finance); Less Cash Economy and Fin-Tech (Are we moving towards a cashless economy?, Future of Cards in the World of Wallets); What is needed to be successful in Fin-Tech?; What is the expectation of industry funding and growth?; Are some sectors mired with over-competition?, and Security Concerns with Digital Wallets, Currencies.
The workshop is open to PGP (Post Graduate Programme in Management), EPGP (Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management) and PGPEM (Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management) participants of IIM Bangalore.
Registration is open only to students and the link has been shared with them.
About the speaker:
Abhishant Pant is a Mumbai-based India market fintech expert. His specialization has been in working with mobile money, fintech (lending, KYC, and payments) and government’s initiatives of financial inclusion for the bottom of pyramid (he had the unique opportunity of presenting m-pesa India to the PM of India during the launch of PMJDY).
He has worked extensively in the payments domain (started his consulting practice as Founder Cashless Journey)
