IIMB’s R&P office hosts seminar on Consumer Motivation by Dr. Gopal Das on Dec 11

05 December, 2017, Bengaluru: The Office of Research and Publications (R&P) at IIM Bangalore will host a research seminar on “’I’ seek uniqueness and ‘WE’ avoid risk: The role of consumer motivation in retail shopping”, on December 11 (Monday), 2017, from 02:30 pm, at Classroom P12. The talk will be delivered by Dr. Gopal Das, IIM Rohtak.

Dr. Gopal Das is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at IIM Rohtak and a Visiting Scholar of HKUST Business School, Hong Kong, and NUS Business School, Singapore. Dr. Das has more than nine years of teaching and/or research experience in Marketing. He has also been associated with IIM Kozhikode as an adjunct faculty. He won the gold medal at the ‘Outstanding Doctoral Management Student Awards (2012)’, organized by AIMS International at IIM Bangalore. Dr. Das has been featured in the Top 5% Productive Management Researchers in India list (Omega, USA). Dr. Das has also been recently ranked the 2nd best Global Retailing Researcher out of 3600 scholars (IJR & DM, UK). Dr. Das has also received the Prof. Dipak C Jain Award from IIM Bangalore. He has published books, cases and research papers in the areas of his expertise, and has presented papers in various national and international conferences.
