28 August, 2021, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore’s two-year weekend Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM) will host a webinar: ‘Driving Growth – The Journey of a CEO’ by Ashish Bhandari – MD & CEO of Thermax Ltd, on August 29 (Sunday), 2021, 11.00 am onwards, as part of the PGPEM LeaderSpeak Series. This is the fifth session in this series that has been garnering audience from PGPEM and beyond.

Credited with building GE Oil & Gas into one of GE’s biggest businesses in India, Ashish Bhandari is currently the MD & CEO of Thermax Ltd. Given the blend of his international business experience, innovative spirit and progressive vision, Thermax is poised for its next level of growth through technology & globalization.
Prior to joining Thermax, Ashish was the Vice President - India and South Asia region at Baker Hughes (formerly a GE company). He joined GE in 2005 in Houston, USA and relocated to Gurgaon in 2011. During his 15 illustrious years with GE, Ashish held primary responsibility for various BHGE product lines including Turbomachinery, Oilfield Services, Subsea, Drilling & Surface, and Measurement & Control.
His prior work experience includes Schlumberger, consulting with McKinsey & Co. and two start-ups overseas. An Engineering graduate from IIT Bombay, Ashish received his master’s degree in Business Administration from Duke University.
