FII hosts ‘Nexus 2017’ on Feb. 24; colleges make presentations on ‘Key Challenges in the Implementation of Digital India’

23 February, 2017: The Forum for Industrial Interaction (FII), a student club at IIM Bangalore, is organizing ‘Nexus 2017’, on Feb. 24 (Friday), with Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Independent MP – Rajya Sabha, and Founder, Jupiter Capital, as the keynote speaker and chief guest.

‘Nexus 2017’ launched a competition where students from colleges and institutes across India were invited to send in a one-page report on ‘Key Challenges in the Implementation of Digital India’. Round 1 saw submissions by 30+ teams from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Christ University, New Horizon College of Engineering (Dept of Management Studies), M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology among others.

Ten teams were shortlisted for Round 2 presentations. The selected teams will make their presentations to the jury from 2 pm onwards on Feb. 24. The teams will get 10 minutes each. The jury comprises Dr. P.R. Devi Prasad, former Advisor, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India, Dr. Jacob Crasta, Founder Chairman, CME Group, and Member, Prime Minister’s SME Council, and Prof. Charan Singh, faculty from the Economics and Social Sciences area at IIM Bangalore. The top 3 winners will receive prizes from the keynote speaker.
