National win for PGPEM team at IIM Kozhikode’s PowerUp strategy challenge

Mukesh Narasimhan, Nachimuthu K, and Pravinkumar Palanisamy are part of the Year-1 cohort

10 February, 2025, Bengaluru: Three students of IIM Bangalore’s MBA for Working Executives (PGPEM)—Mukesh Narasimhan, Nachimuthu K, and Pravinkumar Palanisamy—have emerged as national winners in the ‘PowerUp: A Strategic Growth Challenge’, hosted by IIM Kozhikode from 19 December 2024 to 5 January 2025.

Competing against top teams, Team Quantum Thinkers partnered with a leading renewable energy player to develop a sustainable growth strategy focused on:

  • Scaling solar, wind, and hybrid energy projects
  • Battery energy storage & green hydrogen production
  • Expanding into new geographies & forging strategic partnerships
  • Leveraging government incentives such as Production Linked Incentive (PLI) and Viability Gap Funding (VGF) for impact at scale
