Campus win for PGPEM team at Hult Prize 2025 at IIM Bangalore
PGPEM students emerged as winners of the Hult Prize 2025 competition, hosted by the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell at IIMB.
13 May 2025, Bengaluru: Four students of IIM Bangalore’s MBA for Working Executives (PGPEM); Gethaara Gowri Gowthami, Mukesh Narasimhan, Naveen Raj, and Pravinkumar, emerged as campus winners of the Hult Prize 2025 competition hosted by the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell at IIMB.
As part of the globally acclaimed social entrepreneurship challenge, often referred to as the “Nobel Prize for student entrepreneurs,” the team advanced to the India National Round held at IIT Bombay, joining over 60 campus-winning teams from top institutions including the IITs, IIMs, ISB, and leading private universities.
Presenting their venture, QuantumX Energy, Team Quantum Catalyst addressed this year’s theme, ‘Unlimited’ with a scalable solution focused on building a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion battery recycling through green mineral recovery, battery refurbishment, and carbon credit monetization.
Team Quantum Catalyst’s clarity of purpose, strong sustainability focus, and entrepreneurial rigor stood out in a highly competitive national field, exemplifying the values of innovation and impact that define the IIM Bangalore community.
