The IIMB team ‘Mauryas’ with Amit Pareek and Surabhi Muralidhara finish second runners-up out of around 1098 teams that participated in Round 1
14 March, 2022, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore team ‘Mauryas’ comprising Amit Pareek and Surabhi Muralidhara, both students of the institute’s two-year weekend MBA: Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM), has won the third position in the national-level B-school case competition OpsWise 10.0, conducted by SigmaEta, the Operations and Supply Chain Management Club of IIM Trichy. SigmaEta concluded its final round of the contest on March 05, 2022.
The IIMB team emerged the second runners-up, going through an elaborate process of four rounds of competition. Of the around 1098 teams that participated in Round 1, only 87 qualified for Round 2, and seven teams qualified for the next two rounds. The award includes participation certificates and a cash component.
OpsWise is the flagship event for operations enthusiasts across the country to don the role of Operations/Supply Chain Manager of a firm and apply the concepts learnt in challenging business situations in a professional environment. It was conducted as part of Dhruva 2022, IIM Trichy’s Business & Cultural Fest. The first round was a Quiz, followed by Case Submission, Business Simulation and Case Presentation rounds.
