Public Policy Club, set up by IIMB students, will host Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan in a virtual webinar on 29th August

25 AUGUST, 2020: The Public Policy Club (PPC), set up by the students of the two-year MBA program at IIM Bangalore, will host a webinar on the topic – ‘Turning crisis into opportunities: The role of MBA graduates in building a healthy, resilient and egalitarian India in a COVID affected economy’. Political and democratic reformist Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan will address the audience on 29th August, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

Dr. Narayan is an ex-civil services officer, IAS batch of 1980 (AIR #4), founder of the political party Loksatta, General Secretary of Foundation for Democratic Reforms, and has been a member of various national panels. In his 16 years of service in the public administration and more than 24 years to date as a politician, he has made ground-breaking strides in the realm of public policy for democratic and political reforms. In this journey, he has been instrumental in driving three constitutional amendments and 15+ landmark legislative acts and has always been a supporter of invigorating and encouraging youth to enter politics and shape the nation.   

The speaker session is oriented towards MBA graduates from across IIMs and other B-Schools; however, others interested in the topic are also welcome to join.
