1. Please explain the ways of recruiting students from the campus?
Student recruitment is done in three ways:
1. An 8-week full-time summer internship
2. Entry level full-time positions
3. Experienced/ lateral positions for students with work experience

2. When does the placement program take place?
Summer internship takes place in November while final placements are in March. Lateral placements take place from December to February. For specific information and dates kindly email us at placemnt@iimb.ac.incds@iimb.ac.inplace@iimb.ac.in

3. What is a placement guide and where can I get one? 
A placement guide is a document that details batch profile, facilities available for recruiters and the norms and rules governing campus placements. You can get brochures and further information by emailing us at placemnt@iimb.ac.in/cds@iimb.ac.in/place@iimb.ac.in or by writing to us at Administrative Officer (CDS), Career Development Services Office, IIM Bangalore, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore - 560076.

4. When does the summer internship take place?
Summer internship is from the second week of April to mid-June, the duration being a minimum of eight weeks to a maximum of 10 weeks.

5. What kind of information do students expect in PPTs and/or Company brochures?
A PPT or brochure should ideally contain the following:
1. Profile and reputation of the company
2. Locations of posting
3. Career roles and responsibilities offered in different types of profiles
4. Compensation packages

6. How well is the campus equipped for conducting presentations and the placement process?
The campus is equipped with state-of-the-art communication (Wi-fi enabled), computing and presentation facilities; telecommunication facilities for teleconferencing and video-conferencing and as well as multimedia and projection facilities. Conference rooms, presentation rooms etc. can also be arranged if required.

7. Can alumni of the institute be hired with the help of the recruitment cell?
Kindly email us your requirements at placemnt@iimb.ac.in/cds@iimb.ac.in/place@iimb.ac.in and the Career Development Services office will circulate the information amongst the alumni.

8. Is it possible to conduct placement processes off-campus? Can recruitments be done without having to come for the process?
The option of conducting placements off-campus is not available. However, we may consider a request on a case-on-case basis. If you have any such requirement, do email us at placemnt@iimb.ac.in/cds@iimb.ac.in/place@iimb.ac.in. Remote recruitment is possible through interviews conducted via teleconferencing/videoconferencing.

9. What steps need to be followed in the placement process?
The steps that you need to follow are: 
1. Communicate your interest in being a part of the placement process to the Placement Committee, IIM Bangalore
2. Pre-placement presentation
3. Submission of Resume/Applications by the students
4. Shortlisting of candidates
5. Interviews
6. Final offers

10. Do you have any resumes/ students you can recommend?
IIMB Career Development Services does not recommend students to employers.

11. Is there any fee for placement?
