Team ‘Kaizen’ of IIMB’s PGPEM students bags second spot in IIM Ranchi’s simulation-based case study competition ‘Vorstand 8.0’

16 February, 2022, Bengaluru: Team ‘Kaizen’, comprising Umesh D, Sunil Kulkarni and Aalo Mukherjee, all students of IIM Bangalore’s two-year weekend MBA programme: Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM), 2021-23 batch, was declared the runner-up in Vorstand 8.0 – the simulation-based case study competition conducted by HiRe-HR Club of IIM Ranchi, as part of Agon-Rush 2022, the management-cum-cultural and sports fest of Indian Institute of Management Ranchi.
Round 1 of the contest, an online quiz, held on January 30, 2022, had 283 teams participating. Round 2 was held on February 04, 2022, which consisted of a live business case challenge. Six teams qualified for the final round held on the same day, in which the IIMB team bagged the second place.
Agon-Rush 2022 was an online arena to challenge the business brains, cultural longings and sports skills of the best talent in India. Vorstand was designed to test the business acumen, technical know-how, analytical and presentation skills as well as behavioral competencies of the participants. The rebuttal round made the participants push their limits of critical problem solving.
