Summary
Dr. Sarvesh Bandhu is an Assistant Professor in the Economics area at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). He holds a PhD from the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi, under the supervision of Prof. Arunava Sen. He completed his master’s and bachelor’s degrees at the Delhi School of Economics and Shri Ram College of Commerce, respectively. He is a recipient of the UGC–UKIERI Scholarship for a research visit to a UK institution and the Research Fellowship at ISI, among other awards and distinctions.
His primary research interests lie in theoretical and applied microeconomics, with a focus on mechanism design, evolutionary game theory, and platform economics. His research has been published in leading international journals, such as Production and Operations Management, Economic Theory, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, and Social Choice and Welfare.
Teaching constitutes a central pillar of his academic profile. With over a decade of teaching experience spanning undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and executive education programmes at premier institutions, Dr. Bandhu has consistently been among the top-rated faculty at IIM Bangalore. Prior to joining IIMB, he taught at Ashoka University, the Delhi School of Economics, the Indian Statistical Institute, and Shri Ram College of Commerce.
