Renganathan Sekar

01 OCTOBER, 2021: Renganathan Sekar, student of the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) 2021-22, has won the first place in the national level article writing competition organised by the Marketing Club – Invictus of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida.

He was awarded a cash prize and a certificate. Renganathan bested 325 others to win the top prize. His article on ‘Missing links between sales and marketing departments’ recommends a two-step integrated approach to fix the gaps. “The first step is to design processes based on integrated systems with collective responsibilities and metrics for both these departments. The second step is to integrate activities at a functional level as much as possible to reduce the economic and cultural friction,” he says.
